The Price Brothers Management Vision: The Bluhawk Experience

With the hopes of building his family a better life, young Isaac Price, immigrated to the United States from Poland with one simple business principle: make a good product and make your customers happy. Through hard work and determination as a tailor in Kansas City, Isaac Price was able bring his entire family to the Midwest to the home that he had built them himself. Seeing the passion and craftsmanship that was ingrained in the home, a passerby offered to purchase it. Isaac Price sold the home he had built with his own two hands and used this experience to begin his next project; building Price Brothers Management. Three generations into property ownership later, the family still carries the founding philosophy and work ethic into the twenty-first century.

Now led by Doug Price, company President, Price Brothers Management is dedicated to the growth of Kansas City by embedding its commitment to family, integrity and diligence into every property it develops, owns and manages. The company has mastered property management and sales with over 50 apartment and commercial properties, and over 1 million square feet of office and retail space.

With continued success of its properties, Price began searching for something that would evolve Kansas City into a leisure destination for residents and visitors alike. It was with this goal in mind that Price imagined Bluhawk – Kansas City Community Center. His idea was a place where active minds and energetic bodies can thrive, all in the heart of the Midwest. “Some will call it home,” Price said. “Some will visit frequently. To all, it will offer an intersection of well-being, learning and playing – a next generation destination designed for both today and tomorrow.”

This unique retail destination will be revolutionary for Kansas City. With limited options currently in the area, Bluhawk will bring world-class companies to the Overland Park sector of the city. But retail is just the start. Price Brothers Management designed Bluhawk’s key attractions to bring entertainment to Kansas City unlike anything visitors have experienced before.

Competition and sportsmanship will thrive in the Bluhawk Sports Park which feature a 3,500-seat arena. The arena will host fans funneling to cheer on their amateur hockey team against traveling rivals. A contemporary indoor, multi-sport complex with rinks, fields and courts will spike endorphins and blood flow through all ages. Healthy living and self-actualization are achieved in Bluhawk’s miles of beautiful walking paths, fresh food from Cosentino’s Market and flourishing atmosphere.

Price Brothers Management has called Kansas City home since 1908. It has cultivated its skills and mastered the art of property management, development and ownership. As the largest real estate owner in the area, the company is bringing its expertise to a new level. Price Brothers Management designed Bluhawk to be a one-stop experience for all aspects of shopping, dining and entertainment for future generations to enjoy.
